R.O.G.C'S FUN DAY IN THE PARK
Saturday
29th June, 2019 saw the Great British Weather on our side for a change. Although
it may have been a little bit too
hot! The fun day on the Brownie Field
went down a treat with lots of stalls, tombolas, raffles, cakes, biscuits, hot
dogs, drinks, fun and games for all the children.
Our
"Springboard Group" sweated it out throughout the whole day and did
an amazing job entertaining everyone.
And
at the end of a long, hot day - we raised a massive £600 towards our Fund
Raising Target.
Huge
well done to everyone involved and thankyou to all those who attended to join
in the fun.

We all have that
stuff lying around that we think we will do
something with, but never quite get round to doing anything with it! You know
what we mean – the stuff that clutters up cupboards whilst you try and work out
what to do with it, then forget it was ever there! Well, we may just have the
answer to your problem in what to do with it, and raise some funds for the club
in the meantime!!
You may have seen that we have a recycle bin in the kitchen
– this is not your average recycle bin we hasten to add! – but one that
welcomes items such as:
Jewellery (includes out of date costume jewellery – most of
us have some of that lying around, don’t we!), watches, old games consoles,
laptops, mobiles, video cameras, iPods / MP3 players, ink cartridges, stamps
and currency – even if no longer in use!
There is a full list in the Springboard notice board in the
kitchen – have a look and see what you can come up with, whilst giving your
house a bit of a spring clean!
Hopefully this will help our gymnasts, gymnasium and our own
homes!
Thank you all in advance!
